Update: On July 21, 2022, the original pets from the Cracked Egg, Pet Egg, and Royal Egg were moved to the Retired Egg. The Cracked Egg, Pet Egg, and Royal Egg were all refreshed to contain new pets. The below article is for the old Royal Egg – we will have a new article for the new Royal Egg soon!

What is the Royal Egg?

The Royal Egg is a permanent, or non-limited-time egg which can be bought from the Nursery. It is a fancy-looking egg, as it has a royal crown on it!

It is also the most expensive permanent egg that can be purchased. It costs 1,450 Bucks for the Royal Egg; this is compared to 750 Bucks for the Woodland Egg, 600 Bucks for the Pet Egg and 350 Bucks for the Cracked Egg. It can hatch many pets, from Uncommon to Legendary.

What pets can you get from the Royal Egg?

The Royal Egg can hatch a variety of Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare and Legendary pets. They cannot hatch Common pets. The pets you can get from this egg include:

  • Uncommon pets
    • Chocolate Labrador
    • Fennec Fox
    • Puma
    • Snow Cat
  • Rare pets
    • Beaver
    • Bunny
    • Rabbit
    • Snow Puma
  • Ultra Rare
    • Red Panda
    • Shiba Inu
  • Legendary
    • Dragon
    • Unicorn

There is a 25% chance of hatching Uncommon pets, 37% chance of hatching Rare pets, 30% chance of hatching Ultra Rare pets, and 8% chance of hatching Legendary pets. Just like other eggs, you must complete tasks to hatch the egg or pay 45 Robux to hatch it straight away.

How to get the Royal Egg?

To get the Royal Egg, you must purchase it from Sir Woofington who is located in the Nursery. You will have to pay a whopping 1,450 Bucks! The other way to obtain the egg is by trading, so if you don’t have the Bucks, then you can trade with another player who has the Royal Egg.

How much is a Royal Egg worth?

Because it is the most expensive permanent egg you can buy from the Nursery, it is worth more than a lot of other Eggs. However, it may not be worth as much as some limited-time eggs or special event eggs. This is because once limited-time eggs are gone, they are gone forever (except by trading, of course)! The value of the Royal Egg can change over time, but the current value can be checked HERE.
